John C. Schniepp

John Charles Schniepp, 65, Retired Co-Owner of Ultra Modern Pools, Inc., died Monday, August 15, 2016. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, August 19, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Loretta (Alering) and Cecil Schniepp; ex-wife and best friend, Julia Goodland; beloved dog, Susie. John spent his life working alongside his father, building swimming pools, becoming a Master Pool Builder. He took great pride in his work, but his greatest pride was his daughter and granddaughter. John will be remembered as a stubborn man with the heart of a teddy bear who loved his family no matter what. He is survived by his daughter, Andrea (Ryan) Burgardt; granddaughter, Faye; siblings, Rita (Lance) Rowlen, Ellie Hughes, Linda (Jim) Wallace, Laurin (Michelle) Schniepp, Elden Schniepp, all of Wichita, Gerald Schniepp of Toronto, KS; numerous nieces and nephews.
