Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I met Wilma and her husband years ago, when they still raised parrots. I was intrigued by the absolute care and love that they have for their birds, particularly, Taco. They were the loveliest parrots I had ever seen – they were carefully raised. Although I did not buy one from them, I came to know them. I am saddened and send my condolences to the family. God Bless
I first met Bill and Wilma in 1980 when I was told they were the people to see about obtaining a large hookbill parrot. Our friendship blossomed right off and I had my parrot, Buddy, for 12 years. Wilma and Bill were wonderful to visit with either by phone or in person and one always felt lifted up after visiting with them. It was great seeing them at Hometown Buffet on a regular basis and we miss them each time we return there for a meal. They stood by me through my difficulties in the mid-90’s and were staunch friends always. My hope is that I shall always be that kind of person for someone else. My life is much, much richer because of the Fishers and I know that I join many others in expressing how deeply they will be missed by us all.
