Guestbook

  1. I spent many weekends as a guest in the Strother home when I was a student at Butler Co. Mr. Strothers eldest daughter, Beth, was a dear friend and as a result, Mr. and Mrs. Strother opened their home and welcomed me. Mr. Strother was kind and always willing to share a laugh. I remember being impressed that Beths father owned a MUSTANG! My sincere condolences are sent to this sweet family.

  2. My husband Trip worked with Dale for many years at Derby/Coastal. He was such a wonderful man and friend to all who knew and loved both he and his lovely wife. Keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. F.D. “Trip” & Glenda Triplitt

  3. My husband Harlan, worked at the Refinery and always spoke highly of Dale. We all had good times together at the breakfasts and other events. Dale was a true gentleman. I am sorry for your loss.

  4. Fair winds and following seas sailor.
“Boatswain… Standby to pipe the side… Shipmates going Ashore…”

Thank you for your service to this nation.

  5. To the Strother family,
Found thoughts of a kind man and a good family. Thanking of you at this sad time and knowing Dale will be missed everyday.
    Your friends,
    Craig Bakel & Connie Clark

  6. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. I cut Dales hair for awhile and he was thought of a lot by everyone in my shop. Bill Skidmore

  7. I am a P.E.O. friend of Beth and Marthas and know first hand the quality children that Dale and Carolyn raised. I have a cross that Dale made of nails that I cherish and always display near my past husbands photo. Hugs to the family. Sarah

  8. Carolyn and Family – we know how difficult it is to lose a husband and father. We pray God gives you strength. Dale will be missed by many…
Our sincere condolences to you all.
    Rebecca, Whitney and Taylor Smith

  9. Carolyn, I was so sorry to hear about Dales passing. I loved all of those encounters with him at church and he always made me smile! What a sweet, gentle man of God he was. Please know that you are in my prayers at this time.
