Ann Clark Patton

ann patton
Ann Clark Patton was born January 25, 1957, and entered into eternal life on December 4, 2017, surrounded by her family at home. She approached her battle with cancer as she lived her life: with humor, humility, and grace. She was born in Moline, Illinois to Dr. Earl and Janet Clark, and attended the University of Kansas, where she met her husband Timothy. They enrolled in the Pearson Integrated Humanities Program, which was a source of lifelong friendships and inspired their conversion to the Catholic faith. Ann and Tim were married November 20, 1981, and raised five children. She was a warm and loving wife, mother, and friend; a light to all she met. She was a talented calligrapher and dedicated member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Timothy; her children Simon (Grace) Patton, Mary (Andrew) Lesh, Elizabeth (Francis) Defilippis, Andrew (Becca) Patton, and Paul Patton; grandchildren Julia, Sebastian, Theodore, Phoebe, Bosco, Abraham and Lucy; brothers John (Kathy) Clark, Howard (Jane) Clark, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be held on Friday, December 8, at 8:30 p.m. and the funeral at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be sent to Blessed Sacrament St. Vincent de Paul Society, 124 N. Roosevelt, Wichita, KS 67208. Arrangements are through Downing and Lahey East Mortuary.
