Germaine Rita Beuttel

Beuttel, Germaine Rita, 78, Artist, died Sunday, August 18, 2013. Rosary service will be 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 21, 2013, and Memorial Mass will be 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 22, 2013, both at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Rita was a Navy Veteran, Past Chairman of Kansas Watercolor Society, member of Kansas Pen Women, and a member of the Wichita Art Institute. She is survived by her children, Stacey Bowman (Tom), Wichita, KS, Fred Berschauer, of Louisburg, KS, Vicki Wheelock (Michael), of Augusta, ME; brothers, Russell Vargo, and Jim Vargo, of Pittsburg, PA; grandchildren, Sarah Madigan (Jimmy), Abby Bowman, Molly Bowman, Jacob Bowman, Kylee Wheelock, Matthew Wheelock, Lucas Wheelock, Janine Kruse (Kent); five great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center Hospice Unit, 5500 East Kellogg, Wichita, Kansas, 67218. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
