Mitchell, Marcella, 87, registered nurse and homemaker, died Thursday, May 1, 2014. Rosary will be at 5:00 P.M., Sunday, May 4, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, May 5, 2014, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Christine Hotze; daughter, Ann. Survived by her husband, Manford; sons, Tim (Alice) Mitchell, Mark (Sally) Mitchell, Patrick (Debbie) Mitchell; daughter, Mary (Jim) Jones; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in Mrs. Mitchells name be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
