Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Juanita and family, Please accept our deepest sympathy. Dick was such a wonderful man and role model in our parish. My favorite memory of him is of Dick singing in the Contemporary Choir many years ago. His voice was so deep and strong! He also has a very special place in my heart as we were preparing to do the music for Fr. Foley’s mother’s funeral seventeen and a half years ago. Fr. Bob Dufford was the director of our choir for the funeral mass, and he was looking for someone to do some solo work. I was nominated, but I had Raymond (now a senior at KMC) with me as a newborn. Dick immediately said, ‘Let me hold him so you can stand to sing!’ I will never forget the feelings I had for him. To know that a man, let alone a doctor, would volunteer to hold my child was priceless. We know you will all miss his physical presence, but we are sure you will always feel his presence in your lives. God Bless you all and please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Juanita and family, I just wanted to say how sad I was to read that Richard had passed away. I received a prayer request for him last week through the St. Joseph Prayer Line in Conway Springs. I enjoyed the time that we spent exchanging genealogy information and am glad that we had an opportunity to meet one another. Perhaps we will get together again some day. May God be with you in the loss of your loved one Tenderly…may God’s love heal your sorrow. Gently…may the prayers of friends ease your hurting. Softly…may God’s peace replace your heartache with warm and loving memories. Mary Ternes
My heartfelt sympathy and condolences go out to the family of Dr. Hattrup. While I did not get the chance to get to know Dr. Hattrup himself very well, I did get to know the family and become very fond of them while I cared for their beloved family member. The Hattrup family made a very positive impact in my clinical rotation as an MICT student.
When I knew Dr. Hattrup he was always so very kind to me. I remember him fondly. I would like to send my sympathies and good wishes to the entire Hattrup family.
We just heard that Dr. Hattrup had passed away from Susan’s mother and are very sorry to hear the news. Our thoughts are with all of your family and we wish you all the best in this time.
Dick was a true gentlemen with a gentle heart. How he loved Juanita! How proud he was of the accomplishments of his children and grandchildren! This is how I will always remember him. My condolences to your beautiful family.
