Zachary H. Hargrove

Hargrove, Zachary H., 32, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Bagram AFB, Afghanistan. Memorial service, 2 p.m., Thursday, May 10 at Pathway Church. Interment will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Zachary was a career soldier reaching the rank of Staff Sgt. while serving four combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a highly decorated soldier and leader. While home in Kansas, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, Fatima, fishing with his dog, Lennon, playing his guitar and listening to music. Survivors: wife, Fatima of Milford, KS; parents, Michael and Sansi Hargrove of Wichita; sister and brother-in-law, Kaeli and Arthur Hill of Marshall, MI; grandmothers, Sheila Puckett of Sayre, OK and Donna Ellis of Wichita. Memorials established with United Service Organizations (USO), P.O. Box 96322, Washington, DC 20090-6322 and Tragedy Assistance Programs for Survivors (TAPS), 1777 F. I am so sorry for the lose of Zach. I spent time with him at Fort Carson, CO. I just learned of his passing form a mutual friend Billy Green. I will keep the family in my prayers.
Thinking of Zachary’s family this Memorial Day. May God comfort you. I am appreciative of what your Husband/Son/Brother has given for his Country.
