McBratney, Mary C., 84, SRS conservator, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2010. Graveside service 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 1, Resthaven Cemetery. Mary was a 40 year member of Chisholm Trail Church of Christ, a 20 year member of Riverwalk Church of Christ, a member of the Metropolitan Chorus and was a past Sweet Adeline Choir member. Survivor: foster daughter, Mary Lou Howard of Wichita. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

Dear Mary Lou and Mildred, to all those who loved Mary McBratney. I am so very grateful to her being the Foster Mother to Mary Lou and her care for her all these many years. She has done a wonderful job in helping Mary Lou become the wonderful ‘lady’ she is. I thank the Lord that Mary Lou was given the love and home by all.
