Kathryn Etta Katy Farris

Farris, Kathryn “Katy” Etta (Burton), 86, died Monday, January 26, 2015 in Colorado Springs, CO after a courageous battle against Alzheimers. Burial will be in Norwich, KS. Katy was involved in Junior League, PEO (in which she held various offices), and EGA where she served as the Regional Director for the South Central Region. In her spare time, she enjoyed antiquing, bridge, and needlework. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Leonard A. Farris, Jr. Survived by her daughter, Kaki (Todd) Crystal of Colorado Springs, CO; son, Grant (Lisa) Farris of Houston, TX; sister, Margaret B. Jones of Hot Springs Village, AR; grandchildren, Ryan Crystal, Kyle (Meghan) Crystal, Kelleigh Crystal (Rich) Browd, Taylor Farris; 3 great-grandchildren; 3 nieces; 4 nephews.
