Roger I. “Pru” York, 78, Retired Prudential Insurance Agent, died Wednesday, August 26, 2015. Rosary will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 30, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM, Monday, August 31, 2015, at St. Jude Catholic Church. Preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Suzanne; his oldest son, Christopher; his parents, Ivan Margaret York; his son-in-law, Joseph Downing. Survived by children, Rev. Patrick G. York, of Conception, MO, Steven G. York (Nancy), of Centennial, CO., Michael G. York (Delia), of Kansas City, KS, Ann Garese Downing, of Wichita, KS; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
