Norma Lee Albers

Albers, Norma Lee (Dodson), 85, passed away on August 27, 2014. Norma greatly loved her family, friends, Sooners football, and Skittles. She was raised in Ponca City, Oklahoma, where she met Phyllis Wiles, her best friend of 83 years. She married Gale Albers on November 27, 1957. She spent her life loving and caring for their two daughters. She is reunited in heaven with her husband Gale, parents Charles and Neva Dodson, and sister Audrey Lessert. Norma is survived by her daughters DeAnn Konkel, and her husband Sam of Haysville and Laura Helm, and her husband Rocky of Wichita. She was the loving grandmother to Seth and Shelbie Konkel, Colton, Jordon, and Landon Helm; as well as three adopted grandsons Tom Mason, Devyn Gourley, and Mo Khan. Her Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, August 29, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 30, 2014, at All Saints Catholic Church. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
