Stringer, Verna “Elane” 94, passed away Wednesday, Jan 30, 2013. Visitation with the family, 7-8:30 p.m., Friday, Feb 1, Downing and Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb 2, Westlink Church of Christ. Graveside Service follows at 3 p.m., Hillcrest Cemetery, Mullinville, KS. Preceded in death by: husband, J. N. Stringer; parents, Boone and Nellie Pedigo; sisters, Minnie, Erma, Moleta, Marjorie and Ovie; granddaughter, Charlene; and great-grandchildren, Tara and Noah. Survivors: son, Dan Stringer (Phyllis) of Attica; daughters, Jo Nell Snodgrass of McCool Junction, NE and Jerry Anderson (Roy) of Wichita; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
