Dorothy Eloise (Jones) Evans

Dorothy Eloise (Jones) Evans, passed away peacefully on May 9, 2016 at the age of 101. She was born January 1, 1915, in Perry, Iowa. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Anthony Evans; her parents, and her brothers, Clark and Wayne. She is survived by her children: daughter, Carol (Doug) of Wichita, and son, Tony Jr. (Heather) of San Diego, CA. Dorothy was a former accounting clerk and retail salesperson, loving wife and devoted mother. Her indomitable spirit will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Services will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Wichita Humane Society or Botanica to honor Dorothys love of animals and flowers. Downing & Lahey West.
