Kay Lovett

Lovett, Kay (Stevens), 76, retired Dillards furniture sales associate, died on Saturday, December 12, 2009, after a brief illness. Services are Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East at one oclock in the afternoon. Kay was born March 20, 1933 in Wichita, daughter of Keeney and Eleanor Stevens. Kay was a devoted mother, artist, and cook; and a loyal and loving friend to so many. She attended Mount Carmel Country Day School, Eureka High School, and Emporia State Teachers College. She was married for twenty years to Max Lovett and is survived by their children, Kim (Edgar) Curry, Brett Lovett, and Kurtt (Jennifer) Lovett. Sister of Keith Stevens, Mary Martha Stevens, and Clark Stevens. She was adored grandmother to Andrew Herr, Dexter Curry, Olivia Curry, and Hendrix Lovett. She will be greatly missed.
