Margaret Susan (Cotter Peggy Ochs

Ochs, Margaret “Peggy” Susan (Cotter), 64, passed away Tues., Jan. 31, 2012. Visitation beginning at 4 p.m., Mon., Feb. 6, followed by the Rosary at 7 p.m.; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Tues., Feb. 7, all at Christ the King Catholic Church. Peggy was born in North Andover, MA to the late James and Helen (Donovan) Cotter. She was raised and educated in North Andover and graduated from St. Mary High School in Lawrence, MA, Lowell State College and Emporia State in Kansas. She retired as librarian for the Newton Public Schools and has worked as the librarian at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School for over 7 years. Peggy was a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, reading, dancing and visiting the beach. Survivors: daughter, Maureen Alice Ochs; son, Edward James Ochs; granddaughter, Ava Susan Payne; sister, Mary DiFilippo (Gabriel) of North Andover, MA; brothers, Thomas Cotter (Beverly) of Jacksonville, FL, J. Michael Cotter of Las Vegas, NV, and several nieces and nephews. Memorial established with Christ the King Catholic Church, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209. Downing Lahey West. Visitation with the family beginning at 4:00 P.M., followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M., both Monday, February 6 at Christ the King Catholic Church.
