Young, Whitney Nicole, 17, passed away August 29, 2009. Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2009 at 4:00 P.M., Westlink Christian Church, 2001 N. Maize Rd. Survived by parents, Doug Carolyn Young of Wichita, brother, Joshua Young of Wichita, grandparents, Marjorie Warren Piersol of Corpus Christi, Tx., Betty Young of Ukiah, Ca., aunt, Ruth (John) Spollin of Allen, Tx., uncles, Gary Young of Hawaii, Gregg (Mary Ellen) Young of Ukiah, Ca., numerous family and friends. Preceded in death by grandfathers, Carroll Holcomb Robert Young. Memorial established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas 67219 and Locks of Love, 234 Southern Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL 33405.

Doug, Carolyn, and Joshua, Words cannot express my sorrow. I will forever remember how the insecure, self-conscious girl who walked into Complete High School Maize grew into the confident, poised woman excited about her upcoming adventure at Butler Community College. Please know how much we loved your baby girl, and she forever left an imprint on our hearts.
