Salsgiver, Michael D., 49, Vice-President of Sales and co-owner of Contech, passed away Wed., Feb. 2, 2011. Visitation with the family, 4-7 p.m., Fri., Feb. 4, Downing Lahey West. Service, 2 p.m., Sat., Feb. 5, Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by parents, George and Patricia (Seifert) Salsgiver; brother, David Salsgiver; nephew, Nick Ogden; father-in-law, Don Bezdek. Survivors: wife, Lisa; son, Alex; daughter, Madison, all of the home; sister, Deb Ogden (Max) of Wichita; mother-in-law, Irene Bezdek of Hillsboro. Lisa, My heart just broke when I heard about Mike. He was a great guy and I will always remember his infectious laugh and dry sense of humor. It was an honor to have known him. Our hearfelt sympathy to you and your family. Love Jeanne & Kirby
To Mike’s Family: I am so sad to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike and I were very good friends out at Lake Waltanna during our grade school and high school years. Mike was always a friendly happy guy. Lisa – I’m so glad I’ve gotten to know you through my sister, Rhonda. You are always such a joy to be around with your upbeat attitude and outgoing personality. I have no idea what you must be going through…please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you during this difficult time. I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mike. We were classmates at Goddard. I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss Mike and have many fond memories from school.
Hello Salsgiver family, my name is Tim Mercer. I wanted to pass on my condolences to all of you and my family and I will hold you up in our prayers. I had the oppurtunity to meet Mike a couple of times with my grandparents, Loren and Violet Pugsley. I was also on the fire crew that responded and recognized you guys. My family recently endured a loss with my wife\’s father passing suddenly. I understand your loss and I know the pain and I will pray the Lord will comfort all of you through this difficult time.
