Swanson, Doris Marie, 92, passed to her heavenly home Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 19, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 11 a.m., Monday, December 20, First Mennonite Brethren Church. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph Irving Swanson; son, Gerald Lee Swanson. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law, Ralph C. and Carol Swanson of Grants Pass, OR; daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce A. and Dale Warkentin of Wichita, Judy E. and Wes Anderson of Shelby, NC; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. There is a void that cannot be replaced. Our loved ones have a permanent impact on our lives and they should never leave us. Their influence is invaluable all throughout our life, so they should be with us forever, especially when we have a problem and we need their advice. The God of all comfort wanted mankind to live forever and never experience suffering, pain and death. He sent his Son to earth to erase everything that plagues mankind, particularly death. God’s Kingdom headed by Christ will establish a Paradise earth and bring our precious loved ones back again so we can enjoy living with them happy and healthy and sharing all our experiences with them, never to loss them again.
