Betty Marie Dolphin Graham

Graham, Betty Marie Dolphin, died on February 2nd, 2014. Public Visitation will be from 10 - 11 A.M., Saturday, February 8, 2014; Funeral Service will follow at 11, both at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Andover. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska on January 17, 1919, to Laura Marie Denison Dolphin and Mathew Irving Dolphin. Betty was preceded in death by her brother, Richard; her parents; her husband, George; and her grandson, Jason Huth. Bettys passions in life were her family, friends and Nebraska football. She started attending the NU games when she was 4. Betty was a graduate of Omaha Central High School and the University of Nebraska and a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. She and George were married on April 18, 1941. After the war, they lived in Sioux Falls, SD and Wichita, KS. Betty was assistant librarian at Edison Junior High in Sioux Falls. Her children are Susan (Bob) Mann, Ginny (Harold) Bair, Laura (John) Huth, George (Terri) Graham and Matt (Cindy) Graham. She had 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
