Mulvihill, Rev. Daniel B., 79, retired Catholic Priest of the Wichita Diocese, formerly of Galena, Baxter Springs, and Cherryvale, KS, died Saturday, December 16, 2006. Rosary service, 6:30 P.M. Tuesday, December 19, 2006, and Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, both at St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center. Survivors include a brother, Gerald, of Shrondun, Ireland; a sister, Sr. Mercedes, of Thurles, Ireland; 26 nephews and nieces. A memorial fund has been established with the Priests Retirement and Education Fund, c/o Catholic Diocese of Wichita, 424 N. Broadway, Wichita, Kansas, 67202.
Rosary Service 6:30 P.M. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Chapel at Catholic Care Center

Fr. Daniel Mulvihill was an excellent Priest a compassionate person to all especially to my family and to me. He was such a goodwill ambassador for our church and community. I will always smile when I think of Christmas when he would come to my parents house and we would play poker. He was so special, he was sent from God to us there will always be a special place in my heart for this Good Man.
