Michael Steven Meinecke 59, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015. A mother, a sister, four brothers, two kids, two kids-in-law, four grandkids and many more will remember his sense of humor. Hed tell us to keep it short, so well try. Intelligent, caring, fascinated by many things, always searching and probably wondering why were being such babies about all of this. A historian at heart, a hard worker by trade with his "brothers in the trenches." There will be a viewing on Sunday, December 20, at Downing & Lahey East from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m., and on Monday, December 21, a private graveside service followed by a celebration of Mikes life at Loft 150 in Wichita from 1 - 4 p.m. Downing & Lahey East Mortuary.
