Kennedy, Karl J., 80, died Sunday, September 1, 2013. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 3, 2013, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at All Saints Catholic Church. Karl retired from the City of Wichita as an Industrial Analyst after 27 years and 7 months. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus for more than 53 years, severing as Financial Secretary of Council 3677 for many years. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. and Bertha W. Kennedy; sisters, Rosine Meador, and Sister Patrice Kennedy, A.S.C. Survived by his wife, Dorothy A. Kennedy, of Wichita, KS; brother, Deacon Joe Kennedy (Betty), of Oxnard, CA. Memorials have been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202 and All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand, Wichita, Kansas 67218.
