John W. Jack Rheem

John W. “Jack” Rheem, 90, owner of Rheem and Assoc., passed away Monday, February 3, 2014. Rosary, 7 p.m., Sunday, February 9; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Monday, February 10, both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Military, U.S. Air Force; Teacher/Coach, Victoria High School, Victoria High School Hall of Fame Inductee; Sacred Heart College/Newman University, Development Director. Started Newman intercollegiate athletics and was inducted into the Hall of Fame. Former American Red Cross Chair, instrumental in the development of “Meals on Wheels”. Preceded in death by wife, Nadene, and parents, John D. Rheem and Nellie M. Hulscher. Survivors: sons, John “Jack” W. II, Jim, Randy (Shawna), of Wichita; daughters, Royalynn (John) Robertson, Maria (Michael) Marshall, of Wichita, and Julie Forte, of Dallas, TX; 14 grandchildren: Jamie, Amy, Joe, Tim, Kyle, Joel, Kristopher, John, Julia, Andrew, Kelcie, Carah, Phillip and Courtney; 2 great- grandchildren and one on the way.
