Legge, Mary A., 84, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009. Rosary 7:00 P.M., Friday, September 4 and Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 5, both at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph Legge, daughter, Carolyn and sons, Paul, Glenn and Ralph Mike. Survivors: children, Dan (Mary) Legge, Carol (Charles) Close, David Legge, Tim (Jeri) Legge, Ann (Dave) Zele and Mary Kay (Tim) Chavez; sisters, Tina Brannen and Odelia Haselhorst; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Blessed Sacrament Endowment Fund, 124 N. Roosevelt, Wichita, 67208 and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, 67202. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

My condolences to all the Legge children. Your mother was the rock of foundation for all of you. My mother thought alot of her and enjoyed all the times they were together. To Mary’s Family, Mary has come in the Salon for as long as we have been there. She was always a joy to see and it is very apparent she loves and cares for all of you. You were the topic of her conversations and she always shared the trips she took to visit with you. She was a kind soul and she will be missed by us.
