Alan James Mackey 77, Financial Advisor for Equitable Insurance, died Sunday, May 15, 2016. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 17, 2016; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, May 18, 2016; both at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church. Graveside Service will follow at 2:00 pm, at Fairview Cemetery, Danville, KS. Alan was past President of CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and an avid Shocker Basketball fan. He and Marilyn have been members of the Magdalen Parish since 1978. Preceded in death by his Parents, Jerry and Stella Mackey; Brothers, Ed Mackey, Jerry J. Mackey, Don Mackey; Sister, Betty Lee Cummings. Survived by his Wife, Marilyn Mackey; Sons, Mark Mackey, Matthew Mackey; Grandson, Jaden Mackey; Sisters, Barbara (Bob) Wise, Joan M.
