Milford L. Pritchard

Pritchard, Milford L., 88, retired oil accountant, was called home by the Lord on February 4, 2007. Memorial service 2:00 P.M., Thursday, February 8, First United Methodist Church, Wichita. Milford was born July 14, 1918 in Wellington , KS to Delilah (Lively) and Charles W. Pritchard. He graduated from Wichita North High School, and played semi-professional baseball in the Wichita area prior to joining the Army Air Corps in 1942. He served as a B-24 bombardier during WWII, flying 50 missions and being awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross before being honorably discharged in 1945. Preceded by parents and brother, Dwain L. Pritchard. Survived by wife of 61 years, June (Robb) and children, Cheryl Keimig of Kansas City, MO, Stephen (Maggi) Pritchard of Parker, CO and Janet (Scott) Meils of Toluca, IL; grandchildren, Scot (Clare) Keimig of Sugar Land, TX, Kelly Keimig (Joel) Elsea of Wichita, Bailey Pritchard of Parker, CO, Jordan Pohlman and Jessie Meils, both of Toluca, IL; six great-grandchildren.
