Greening, Joseph M. “Joe”, 62, loving husband, dad, grandpa and friend, lost his courageous battle with cancer, Friday, December 18, 2009. The memorial service will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 22, at Downing Lahey Mortuary West, 10515 W. Maple, Wichita. Joe was born September 13, 1947 in Mansfield, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Greening. Joe will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Shirlie; daughter, Jennifer Juarez of Wichita, KS and son, Michael Greening (Tracie) of Minneapolis, MN; grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Michael, Trey and Gregory.

Dear Shirlie, Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss.
I just wanted to give my deepest sympathy to the family. I worked with Joe at American Industrial Water for 3 years. We were always talking during the down time. He was always telling me about his golf game, his ornery grandsons and his trips to Branson. It has been about 5 1/2 yrs since I worked with him but I always wondered how he was doing and pictured him retired in Branson and continuing to improve his golf. Shirlie, Jennifer, Mike, My deepest condolences! I am so sorry to hear about Joe!! I would never be able to explain how much Joe (and your family) meant to me growing up! I think of him every time I go out to a soccer practice or game. I would not be the coach or person I am today without him. Tye
