Myshka, Thomas “T. J.” 71, retired electrical engineer, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Rosary 8:00 P.M., Friday, Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M Saturday, both at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. T. J. served his country in the US Navy form 1964-1968. He had a Bachelors degree of Electrical Engineering, working for Hutchinson Hospital as a clinical engineer before retiring as a liaison/electrical engineer with Boeing Aircraft. He also had a Masters in Theology from Tulsa University. He was very active in the Boy Scouts of America as a Cub, Weblo, and Eagle Scout. He was Scout Master for both Scouts and Explorers in California, and he was a member of the Order of the Arrow. T. J. was a prominent leader in a prayer group, RCIA and Bible study. He also served as a rosary leader, Eucharistic minister, and trainer/director of altar servers. T.J. was regular in perpetual adoration, and also filled in whenever needed. Survivors include his wife Mary; sons, Michael J. Myshka, Pearl Harbor, HI and Paul Myshka, Wichita, KS; brother, Bob (Bruxie) Myshka, Jonesboro, AR; nephew, Dr. James (Kimberly) Myshka, Fayetteville, AR and niece, Dr. Susan Myshka, Jonesboro, AR. A memorial has been established with the American Lung Association, 6401 E. Beachy, Wichita, KS 67206. Downing Lahey East Mortuary. Rosary, 8:00 P.M. Friday, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church

I DO REMEMBER YOU AND YOU FAMILY. I DO FEEL YOUR PAIN. I LOST MY FATHER PAUL BLEA ALMOST 3 YEARS AGO, AND LOST MY SON MICHAEL OCTOBER 31, 2006. I KNOW GOD WILL SEE YOU THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME, AS HE HAS HELPED ME IN MY TIME OF NEED. GOD BLESS TO ALL.

  3. I knew T.J. when he worked at Hutchinson Hospital quite a few years ago and was sorry to hear about his passing. I know that as a family, you all will pull through this time of sorrow and help each other out.
