Alfaro, Albert, 84, retired painter and interior decorator, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010. Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 9, Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Albert served in the US Navy 1944-1946. Preceded in death by parents, Cenobio and Francisca Alfaro, brother, Alfonso, sister, Rutila Triana and daughter, Geraldine Alfaro. Survivors: wife, Mary (Rodriguez) Alfaro; children, Delbert, (Anne) Alfaro, and Madeliene Alfaro, all of Wichita, Richard, (Patricia) Alfaro of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, Rosemary, (Dr. Patrick) Murphy of Tulsa, OK, Debra, (Javier) Velarde, Deanna, (Richard) Rico, Teresa, (Justin) Kelley, all of Wichita; sister, Carmen, (Ignacio) Navarro of Wichita; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Our Lady of Perpetual Help, PSR Program, 2351 N. Market, Wichita, KS, 67219. Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 8, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
