Grant, Josephine Francis, 83, retired Via Christi St. Joseph nurse, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2009. Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, with Funeral Mass 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, both at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Josephine was the daughter of Bertha Viola and Karl William Stubenhofer. Preceded in death by husband, John F. Grant, Jr. and brother, Howard Joseph Stubenhofer. Survivors: daughters, Laura (Christopher) Howells of Ripon, CA and Patricia (Dave) West of Overland Park, KS; sister, Ruth Marie Holmberg of Topeka, KS; brother, James Anthony Stubenhofer of Emporia, KS; grandchildren, Devin A. West, Courtney J. Roberts, Kelsey M. Ray, Michaela L. West, Stephanie J. Howells, C. Grant Howells, Andrew J. Howells and Ian J. W. Howells; great-grandchildren, Angus MacGreggor Ray and Ethan Sloane Ray.
