Medford, Therese Marie, a loving wife, mother, and retired Boeing machinist, passed away Wednesday May 18, 2011. Therese was born December 17, 1928, in Lindenholzhausen, Germany to Georg and Anna Fachinger. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward E. Medford, her parents, siblings and grandson Jesse. She is survived and loved by her daughters, Carol Joy (Gary), Bette Creach (Mike), and son James Medford (Karen), 7 grandchildren, and 11 great-children. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved in Germany, among them, Monica, Wolfgang, Rosemary, Inga, Gabi, Josef, Gabrelle, and Lothar. A rosary will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 6555 E. Central, Wichita. A Mass of Christian burial is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand, Wichita.
A rosary will be held beginning at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 6555 E. Central, Wichita.

Betty, Your mom was always like a family member to my nieces over the past few years. Therese and mom to be good friends after they both lost their husbands and while mom’s health held out. She was always a pleasure to visit with at the baby showers and other family get togethers. Sorry I haven’t kept in touch over the years, but remember her fondly. Sorry for your loss.
