Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
John & Family, Our sincerest sympathies during this time. We did not know Kathleen, but knew of her, she undoubtedly left a LIGHT that so many will see for all of time. Our prayers are with all the Duling Family.
Rosie, I think of you and your family often throughout the days. My prayers are with you and I ask God to help you find strength.
Dear Mr & Mrs. Duling, Please accept my deepest sympathy on the death of your beautiful daughter Kathleen. I am out of town and was not available to attend the Rosary or funeral for her. I taught Kathleen at Bishop Carroll her Sophomore year and always appreciated her quiet, gentle yet strong spirit and she was proud to be part of a Catholic school. I remember talking with her many times about her love of basketball, yet I always reminded her to remember always to pray which I knew in my heart she did. My heart was broken and I shed tears out of complete shock when my Sisters shared the news with me. Please be assured of my prayers for you and your family…and for Kathleen. May Jesus and Mary give you every grace possible to bring you comfort through this difficult time. God Bless, Sr. Mary Dolores, IHM

So we do know a little about losing someone so close to you. We shall be praying for you. Love to you both.
I am a student at Pittsburg State University and Kathleen was on my floor for awhile. She was so nice to everyone and always made the extra effort to talk to everybody. I am blessed to have known her and offer my deepest condolences. I will continue to keep her family and friends in my prayers, and I will never forget Kathleen or her ever-present smile.
Dear Duling Family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful daughter. I never had the chance to meet her, but, however, I know she has some fun loving crazy Uncles. I am praying for your families at the time of sorrow.
Dearest Duling Family, My name is Heather Eckstein, and I work at Pittsburg State University. I had the pleasure of working Kathleen through the PEERS program. I am not sure how much Kathleen shared with you about this program, but I wanted you to know how she came to be a member and how much she was respected by the other students in the program. Kathleen was nominated by her Freshman Experience instructor to become part of a select group of freshmen who would become mentors for the next freshman class. She agreed to be a part of this all-volunteer program and took a class during the spring semester to prepare for the fall. She was a generous person who was willing to do far more than was required, who believed in the value of education, who wanted to help others succeed, and who brightened the day of those who were lucky enough to meet her. I am truly sorry for your loss. I know that nothing I can possibly say will make this better, but I wanted you to know how much we will miss her here at PSU and that I too am deeply saddened by what has happened. Kathleen was a shining star. I am proud to have known her and glad that she smiles down at us from above.
John and family I’m so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you in this most difficult time.
Rose and family, I am so very sorry for your loss! I remember you from many years ago when your daughter, Maeve, was in dance class with my daughter, Molly, at the Orchard Park Rec Center. We would sit outside the room and visit while the girls were in class. You had Kathleen in a stroller, and I had my daughter Sally, a toddler at the time. May God hold you all safe in His arms and give you peace and comfort during this time. Again, I am so very sorry.
Mr. & Mrs. Duling, my name is Andy Gottlob and I am the principal at George Nettels Elementary School in Pittsubrg. I just wanted you to know how blessed our school was to have Kathleen working for us. She was such a nice and pleasant girl. The staff and students absolutely loved her! We are very sorry for your loss and will keep you in our prayers for many days and weeks to come. We will definitely miss her here at George Nettels.
So sorry for your loss. Wished had some words of comfort.
