Avelar, Josephine “Josie”, 86, homemaker, passed away Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010. Rosary, 8:30 pm Wednesday and Funeral Mass 10 am Thursday Feb. 11, 2010 both at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Preceded in death by son, Richard. Survivors: husband, Raymond; children, Victoria Avelar, Jime Avelar, Juliana (Adam) Rizo; brother, Igancio “Nacho” Guerrero; sisters, Francis Santiago, Mary “Cuca” Robles and Rafila “Lupe” Robles, all of Wichita; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Julie and Adam, Dominique and Christian, I am sorry for your loss but always remember Julie, that your mommma lives in each of your loved ones near to you, each time you see your mona (button) smile you can remember that it is because your momma loved here dearly and Dominique and Christine you can always remember that each time you look at your momma you will see alot of your grandma in her, and last but not least to my brother Adam, you were so lucky to have two beautiful, faithful, hopeful and loving mothers. Always remember you were blessed and I know that you will miss Josie dearly, but remember she has her friend waiting for her (Chole) and all her loved ones in heavan.
