Palmer, Ruth L., age 91, retired secretary for the Veterans Administration and homemaker, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Rosary service 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, at Church of the Magdalen. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard, 5 brothers, 1 sister, and grandson, Justin Klapprott. Survivors: daughters, Karla (Wayne) Klapprott and Mary (Steven) Korte, both of Wichita; grandchildren, Meagan Pope (Stuart) Furrow, Dustin Pope, and Kristy Klapprott. A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 330 S. Main, S-100, Wichita, KS, 67202.
Rosary service 7:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
