Moore, Elsie M., 91, retired, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Service 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 26, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by husband, Paul and brother, Joe Mallett. Survivors: daughters, Joyce Moore of Wichita and Paula Leaman (Gordon) of Yukon, OK; sisters, Kathryn Farmer of Batesville, AR, Helen Smiley of Grandview, MO, Jerusha Sims of Kent, WA and Pearl Tilley of Columbia, MO; grandchildren, Shana Foster (Jeremy) and Caryn Leaman; sister-in-law, Katie Mallett; a host of nieces, nephews, long-time friends and honorary grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Know Your Bible, c/o Northside Church of Christ, 4545 N. Meridian, Wichita, 67204 or the charity of your choice.

So sorry to hear about Elsie’s passing. She was such a dear friend and lovely lady. Lynda and I always enjoyed our visits with her at Central Church of Christ. She was a great role model for our daughters Joanna and Leslie as they were growing up.
