Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Ashel. Survived by: sons, Donald Ashel, Jr., Aaron Ashel of Wichita, KS; step-daughters, Sherry (Russ) Bozarth of Wichita, KS, Pam Gordon of Daytona Beach, FL; grandchildren, Shelly Bozarth, Jerry (Michelle) Bozarth, Marci Harris, Brandon Ashel, Brandie Obiorah, Stacy (Rob) Wood. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202.
