Wyatt, Dorothy J., 78, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2009. The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 29, at St. Marys Cathedral. Dorothy taught English at Mayberry Middle School and South High School, retiring after 38 years. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph W. Wyatt, Jr., brother, Joe Ludiker and nephew, Russell Blide. Survivors: son, Paul Wyatt (Diana) of Overland Park, KS; daughter, Patricia Wyatt-Harris, M.D. (James) of Wichita; sister, Wilma Blide (Richard) of Wichita; grandchildren, Jimmy Harris, Jonny Harris and Scott Wyatt; niece, Jeanette Blide; great-niece, Shelby Blide; close friend, Paul Babich. Memorials have been established with St. Marys Cathedral, 307 E. Central, Wichita, KS, 67202 and The Lords Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS, 67214.
The Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 28, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

To Mrs Wyatts Family, I am a former student of hers at South High school. She was one of the best teachers I had. She taught me to really love the written word. She was a lot of fun to get to know once I became an adult too. I will miss talking with her.
