McFarlane, Fern I, 92, homemaker, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012. Funeral service is 10:00 AM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Visitation with family will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Carey Funeral Home followed by a 3:00 PM burial at the Burlingame Cemetery, Burlingame, KS. Preceded in death by her husband Robert and grandson Rick McFarlane. Survivors include her children, Robert E. (Karen) McFarlane, Jr., of Kearney, MO, William T. (Kay) McFarlane of St. Louis, MO, Theodore, H. (Marcia L.) McFarlane of Overland Park, KS, Joye McFarlane of Wichita; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Memorials: Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice and Kansas Humane Society.
