Dirks, Elizabeth L. “Betty,” 69, retired interior designer and co-owner of Laurco Fabrics, Inc., died Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Vigil will be on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at 5:00 P.M.; Funeral Mass will be Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10:30 A.M. Both services will be held at Church of the Resurrection Catholic Church, 4910 N. Woodlawn, Wichita, KS. Survived by: husband, Daryl D. Dirks of Wichita; daughter, Kirsten K. Barnard of Denver; son, Eric L. Dirks of Kansas City; grandchildren, Declan (8), William (6), Veronica (5) and Eli (3); sister, Teresa Bratcher of Yuma, AZ; and brother, William Edward Proctor of Oklahoma City. Preceded in death by father, William Proctor and mother, Alice “Betty” Proctor of Hutchinson, KS. Betty was a devoted and active wife, mother and grandmother and cherished the times when all grandchildren were together with her.
