Boling, Bonnie Jean (Duncan), 76, died Monday, September 9, 2013. Visitation with the Family will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 11, 2013; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2013, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. She was born June 20, 1937 in Girard, KS to George and Darlene Newbery. She was retired from Koch Industries Accounting Department. She loved to travel and having toured in all 50 states, all Canadian providences except Quebec, and at least 12 other countries. She also loved to crochet and do crafts. She never met a stranger and always had a smile. She was active in the Moose Lodge and earned Sr. Regent degree which is the highest local degree, she belonged to the Wichita Barbwire Collectors Club for many years and she was a Red Hat Lady having belonged to 3 clubs at one time. She and her present husband, Robert Boling, belong to the Wichita Farm and Ranch Club and enjoyed visiting different farms, etc. in the Wichita area. She also enjoyed attending Anns Fashion Shows at the Candle Club and was currently a member of the Sedgwick Christian Church. She married Morris Kornick in 1955. Two sons were born to this union. They divorced in 1965 and she married Norman Duncan who adopted the boys. He passed away in 1997 and she married Robert Boling in 2001, of Sedgwick, survived by. She is also survived by sons, Nicholas Jon Duncan of Wichita, and Randal (Connie) Duncan of North Carolina; one grandchild, Jake; step-sons, Terry and Perry Duncan, Eric Boling; step-daughter, Angela Paxton; 8 step-grandchildren; and numerous step-great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with First Christian Church, 514 N. Franklin Ave., Sedgwick, KS 67135.
