Carolyn Rose Brenner, 75, retired medical technician and secretary at Star Lumber, was born on March 8, 1939 in Newberry, Michigan, to Henry L. and Leona G. Brenner. She passed away on February 9, 2015, after a prolonged illness. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lucy Bauer, and her brother-in-law, Bill Goebel. She is survived by her sister, Janet Goebel; brother, Henry Brenner (Carol); brother-in-law, Clinton Bauer, and many nieces and nephews. Carolyn attended Mt. Carmel Academy, St. Marys of the Plains College in Dodge City and Wichita State University. Besides being involved in many church activities, Carolyn enjoyed card playing with friends and participated in several Bridge clubs. Rosary, 7 p.m., Thursday, February 12; Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., Friday, February 13, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
