Flaherty, Bernadine, 96, retired legal secretary, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2009. Rosary 7:00 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2009 Downing Lahey East Chapel. Funeral mass 10:00 A.M. Monday, All Saints Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, J. Emery Flaherty, one son, James Flaherty; sisters: Bea Romey and Mary Ann Garneau. Brothers: Ralph, Dick, Richard, Julius, Tony and, Gabe Brull. Surviviors: daughters, Patty (Joe) Barnes of Fairfax, VA, Jan Clarkson of Pratt, KS; sisters, Martina Brull of Las Vegas, NV, Philomine Lowe of Topeka, KS; brothers, Bob Brull of Hays, KS, Bill Brull of Salina, KS and Elmer Brull of Pearland, TX; grandchildren, Christina, Allison and Emily Barnes, Austin and Andrea Clarkson, Kevin and Bryan Flaherty. Bernadine was a member of the Daughters of Isabella since the 1940s and active in the All Saints Altar Society.
