William F. Woodman

Woodman, William F., 82, retired U. S. Army, died Monday, February 11, 2008. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 15 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield, KS. Bill began his career in WWII with the 17th Airborne Gliders. He was a recipient of the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and 2 Army Commendation Medals. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Elisabet. Survivors are his son, Wolfgang Woodman (Carolyn), grandchildren, Greg Woodman, Kevin Woodman Joanne White (David), great-grandchildren, Dederick, Cooper Lydia White, all of Wichita; brother, Fred Woodman (Edna) of Brighton, CO, sister, Eva Endicott of Anchorage, AK, many nieces nephews.
