Tracy, Ted. H., 93, retired carpenter, passed away Tues., May 24, 2011. Service 10:00 a.m., Fri., May 27, at College Hill United Methodist Church. Interment 1:30 p.m., Fri., at the Argonia Cemetery, Argonia, KS. Ted served in the Army during WWII, fighting in battles at D-Day at Utah Beach and at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a decorated veteran, receiving 5 Bronze Stars and 5 Purple Hearts. Ted was a member of the Carpenters Union, Local 20l. After retiring, he became a Union instructor for 14 years. Preceded by first wife, Nina Irene (Nugen) Tracy, 5 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors: wife, Rosella Marie Struebing Tracy; sons, Gregory L. Tracy (Susan D.) and Gary L. Tracy (Patricia K.) all of Wichita; step-daughters, Karen J. Martin (Paul M.) of Tucson, AZ and Anita Bailey (George Dewey, III) of Betendorf, IA; sister, Sarah Radekin of Wichita; brother, Galen Tracy of Rock, KS; granddaughters, Amanda Cameron (Bo) and Laura Humphrey (Bill); 4 step-grandchildren; great-granddaughters, Erika Bonebrake and Brooke and Morgan Humphrey. Memorials to: Central Prairie Honor Flights, (for Sedgwick Co.) 1817 16th St., Great Bend, KS, 67530. Interment 1:30 p.m., Fri., at the Argonia Cemetery, Argonia, KS.
