Richard Dick Parkhurst, Sr.

Richard “Dick” Parkhurst, 68, Boeing Aircraft Company sheet metal mechanic, and veteran of the Vietnam War, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014. Visitation with the family, 6-8 p.m., Monday, September 15; Service, 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by parents, Ben and Dorothy Parkhurst. Survivors: son, Richard “Rich” Parkhurst, Jr. (Tammy) of Wichita; sister, Diane Ward of Goddard; stepson, Kevin “Harry” Lott of Belle Plaine; grandchildren, Ben and Alex; nephew, Darren Ward (Jill) of Goddard; niece, Julie Cook (Randy) of Andale; great nieces and nephews, Conner and Emily, Amanda and Noah; former wife, Debbie Parkhurst of Wichita.
