Dwight “Pat” Patton, Jr. 82, Retired Boeing Computer Services Manager, died Saturday, September 12, 2015. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 19, 2015, at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Dwight, Sr. and Hazel Patton; sister, Marilyn Snyder. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay Patton of Wichita; children, Krista (Richard) Roller of Kansas City, KS, Timothy (Ann) Patton of Wichita; Tony (Renay) Patton of Kansas City, MO, Jeff (Laura) Patton of Orinda, CA; 12 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Pat was a graduate of Lyons High School and KU with degrees in mathematics. He retired after 34 years of leadership at BCS. Pat enjoyed the outdoors, life in the mountains, and especially spending time with his family at homes in Wichita and Colorado. Pat loved his dogs - 50 years owning Samoyeds. He was a lifetime Boy Scouts Volunteer and built many Habit for Humanity homes in New Mexico and Louisiana with a team from Buena Vista, CO.
