Porter, Ruth Naomi, 101, retired Wichita teacher, passed away Monday, January 16, 2012. Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00A.M., at Downing Lahey East Chapel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marvin and brother, Kenneth Yeager. Ruth is survived by her daughter Sharon (Richard) Long, Haysville, KS; grandchildren, Jeff (Linda) Long, Chris (Beth) Long, and Stephanie (Stephen) LeBrun; and six great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established with College Hill United Methodist Church, 2930 East First Street, Wichita, KS 67214.
