John F. Reals, Jr.

John F. Reals, Jr., 37 of Prairie Village, KS went to be with our Lord on February 14, 2018. John F. Reals Jr. was born in Wichita, Kansas on August 2, 1980 to proud parents John and Colleen Reals. He graduated from Wichita State University in the winter of 2005 with a degree in Criminal Justice. John worked as Juvenile Corrections Officer for Johnson County. There was nothing that John loved more than spending time with his girlfriend, niece and nephews, and being around his family. He loved KU basketball, Pittsburg State anything, and going to our family farm where he loved spending time with his dad. John was full of life and everyone who met him was a better person for it. The funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 N. Roosevelt St., Wichita, KS, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Rosary will begin at 9:30 am, followed by Funeral Mass at 10 am. Burial following. There will also be a celebration of life on Saturday, February 24, at the Blue Moose in Prairie Village, KS from 4-6 pm. John F Reals Jr. is survived by his loving girlfriend, Natalie Johnstone; parents, John and Colleen Reals; siblings, Jennifer Dempsie (Reals) and husband Michael, Angie McCune (Reals) and husband Nathan, and Alice Reals; niece and nephews, Joe Dempsie, Emma and Drew McCune; multiple aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Memorials have been established with the Cornerstones of Care Gillis House of Kansas City, where John and Natalie were avid volunteers, 8150 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114; or Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, 125 N.
