Pankow, Hilda Dorothy (Blocker), 87, retired secretary and office manager for her husbands New York Life office, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010. Graveside service, 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 21, White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Preceded in death by husband, Milton A. Pankow; brother, Harold Blocker; sister, Helen Hoffer. Survivors: son, Larry M. Pankow, M.D. (Kim) of Wichita; daughter, Karen K. Alfson (David) of Richardson, TX; sister, Marie Hein of Augusta; grandchildren, Kristina Phillips, Daniel Alfson, Chris Pankow and Jon Pankow; 2 great-grandchildren. Memorials established with Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc., P.O. Box 5000, Yucaipa, CA 92399-1450 and Trinity Lutheran Church, 611 S. Erie, Wichita, KS 67211. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

I am so sorry that I am unable to attend the services for Hilda. I always liked her, she was my friend. I send condolences to all of you and especially to Karen and Marie. I remember them well. God Bless you all.
To: Larry,Karen,and family, I know we all will miss Hilda but we know that we will see her again in Heaven. There is no doubt of this.
